政府可能可以獲得足夠票數通過脫歐法案二讀，可能有30名工黨議員支持今晚的脫歐法案二讀。如果議員投票否決了英國政府的立法時間表，那麼政府將取消立法並推動在耶誕節前進行大選。
分析師表示，日內經濟數據較為清淡，重點關注英國脫歐協商進展，英國首相詹森政府將嘗試在僅有的三天時間內讓其脫歐協議獲得議會批准。脫歐草案主體部分有望獲批，但其他部分可能會遭遇否決，將導致詹森很難在10月31日前離開歐盟，此外投資者們仍需關注是否有人支持對法案進行調整，使其不再支持通過整體法案。
如果英國議會投票支持英國首相詹森脫歐計畫，英鎊兌美元可能進一步上漲，而如果英國推動大選，或進行新一輪公投，或二者同時出現，那麼匯價將跌至1.25-1.26附近。
