脫歐面臨挑戰，局勢不穩可能讓英國吃大虧

10月21日，英國首相詹森表示，將議會要求傳達給歐盟，與歐盟達成了很好的協議。但不確定歐盟是否會同意延期，如果有修正案，政府將再次進行投票，但政府反對關稅同盟和二次公投，目前政府和愛爾蘭民主黨仍在談判。
此外，英國議會下院領袖理斯-莫格將在北京時間22:40就《退出協議法案》（WAB）發表聲明並為週二該法案的二讀做準備。
在週末議會表決未能通過英國首相鮑裏斯·詹森與歐盟達成的脫歐協議後，英鎊兌美元匯率終止四連漲，錄得了0.7%的跌幅，但是依然停留在200日均線之上，因為投資者依然認定協議最終能夠獲得通過。英國政府仍然堅持英國應於10月31日脫歐歐盟的立場，並堅持認為其脫歐協議在英國下院擁有足夠多的支持。
分析師稱，脫歐協定面臨兩方面挑戰；首先，在歐盟方面，英國已經遞交申請延後脫歐的信件。但鑒於英國政府準備在本周就脫歐協定進行投票，為了給英國議會增加壓力，預計在議會就脫歐協定有結果之前，歐盟不會就延後脫歐的申請作出決定。
其次，國內方面，英國首相詹森試圖推動在今日就協定進行“關鍵投票”，但仍需等待英國下議院議長約翰·伯考是否同意進行投票。鑒於市場逐漸消化脫歐積極進展的樂觀情緒，英鎊兌美元略有走弱。如果今日進行“關鍵投票”提議未獲通過，預計英鎊兌美元將小幅下挫。
英國脫歐，以及貿易爭端問題都帶來了大量的不確定性。不確定性對投資來說是非常不好的，而眼下從其客戶的表現來看，簡直可以看成投資者的罷工；就在上周，英國議會下院以322票支持、306票反對的結果通過了修正案，要求政府先完成對脫歐協議中相關內容的立法程式再將協議本身提交議會表決，導致原定當日由議會下院表決的新脫歐協議並未進行表決；
歐洲理事會主席圖斯克則表示，歐盟方面已收到來自英國的延長脫歐期限申請信。在利率極為低迷，投資成本非常低的情況下，升溫的不確定性是非常巨大的不確定因素；“只有在有明確決定之後人們才會做出決定。”
