花旗：FED暗示升息 推高美元拉低黄金

美联储公开市场委员会(FOMC)两天的会议，公布了利率决议，会议决定维持联邦基金利率在0-0.25%不变，并削减购债规模100亿美元至550亿美元。同时，美联储宣布放弃6.5%的失业率为升息的前瞻性指引。
贵金属市场因此受到很大影响，Comex四月期金和五月期银价格都有显著下跌。
花旗客户集团(Citi Institutional Client Group)的期货专家Sterling Smith说：“这个影响很明显。”
Smith认为，美联储放弃6.5%的失业率为升息的前瞻性指引也并没有什么意外。之前6.5%的指引距离2月就业报告时6.7% 的失业率并不远。
美联储称，“在决定该利率将会维持多久时，将2%的通胀目标、最大化就业目标的实现和其进展作为考虑因素。”
Smith认为，美联储官员对联邦基金利率从目前接近0的水平将在2015年底升至1%的暗示使得金价大受影响。
“我认为这是非常非常激进的。”Smith说。他认为这代表着要有一个比目前更为健康的经济，但如果是这样，“这对黄金市场将是很困难的。”这会推高美元拉低金价。
FuturePath Trading的分析师Frank Lesh认为：“最初的解读是对黄金不利，但这是早就预料到的了，所以只要美联储继续缩减，金价走势就会继续走软。”
“真正意外的是美联储官员暗示明年会升息，这对黄金是非常不利的，”Pension Partners的研究主管Charlie Bilello说，“此外，美联储称经济显示出能量的言论比之前猜测的更不鸽派。”
