需求增长 日本铜线铜缆出货量创8个月新高

彭博社报导，日本电线和电缆制造商协会（JCMA）8月20日表示，日本7月铜线和铜缆出货量年增3.8%，创下去年11月以来的新高，主要受到建筑与电机产业需求增长的带动。日本7月铜线和铜缆出货量为61,800吨，上年同期为59,533吨。2012年，日本铜线铜缆出货量年增2%至694,847公吨。JCMA研究部门官员Keiichi Ohki此前表示，受到日圆贬值的影响，预计自4月起的新财政年度，出口需求可望出现复苏。
《国际金融报》8月19日报导，澳大利亚矿业公司力拓（Rio Tinto）位于蒙古奥尤陶勒盖的铜金矿项目现已处于“暂停”状态，同时，该项目将会裁员1700人。奥尤陶勒盖铜金矿位于蒙古南戈壁省汗包格德县境内，号称“全球大型铜金矿之一”，初步探明铜的储量为3110万吨、黄金储量为1328吨、白银储量为7600吨。
新华网日前援引蒙古国议员钢巴特尔的话称，力拓试图强行把奥尤陶勒盖铜金矿的前期投资改为244亿美元，原来的投资合同规定为51.24亿美元。钢巴特尔表示，如扩大投资额，蒙古不仅要承担巨额债务，且将减少从该矿获得的收益。
全球最大矿商必和必拓（BHP Billiton Ltd.）8月20日表示，由于大宗商品价格持续下跌远远抵消了公司降低成本的努力，截至6月的全财年利润连续第二年下降。该公司还预计全球市场大宗商品供应的增长将长期给价格施压，但业内投资的削减最终会让供应与需求达成平衡。必和必拓截至6月份财年净利润下降了30%至108.8亿美元，营收下降8.7%至759.7亿美元。
