周三(10月20日)美元指數跌0.18%，至93.60；美聯儲周三在其最新經濟報告彙編褐皮書中表示，美國經濟在9月和10月初以“溫和至適度的”步伐增長，因新一波新冠疫情放緩，並開始消退。美聯儲理事誇爾斯表示，雖然現在是時候開始縮減購債計劃了，但面對明年可能消退的高通脹，開始升息還“為時過早”。

德國商業銀行技術分析認為認為，歐元兌美元近期處于反彈模式，日內艾略特波浪表現積極，預計將進一步反彈至1.1741，這是四個月來的下行趨勢線切入位，下滑料守穩1.1600心理關口，而若跌破上周低點1.1522，則下一目標將指向2020年以來波幅的50%斐波那契回撤位1.1495和2020年3月高點1.1492，關鍵支撐位是2008年以來下行趨勢線1.1395

法國興業銀行認為，英鎊兌美元需要突破1.3910/30才能延續漲勢，英國9月份通脹率從8月份的3.2%下降到3.1%，但這並不是價格上漲的結束，因此不會阻止英鎊貨幣市場對英國央行的強硬利率預期，核心利率從3.1%降至2.9%，英鎊兌美元正在接近1.3910/1.3930這一潛在阻力，這是近期高點，也是自6月份以來波幅的61.8%斐波那契回撤位，突破這一阻力對下一波反彈至關重要，如果未能收複1.3910/1.3930，可能導致短期回調，短期支撐位依次位于1.3670和上周低點1.3570。
