重新引入所谓的商业票据融资安排(CPFF)是美联储最近几日来推出的一系列举措之一，旨在通过向实体经济注入资金，对抗冠状病毒疫情给经济带来的负面影响，以及由此导致的全球市场动荡。
特朗普政府周二还寻求一项1万亿美元刺激计划，为受到新冠疫情冲击的经济提供支撑。可能在两周内向美国人发放1000美元补助。
美国股指期货继续封跌停；英镑兑美元跌破1.19关口，刷新逾三十年低位，近七个交易日累计跌近1250个点；WTI原油创下2002年以来首次跌破25美元关口；澳元和纽元均不断刷新十多年低位……
美国指标10年期公债收益率隔夜跳升36个基点，创2004年来最大单日涨幅。这进一步表明，哪怕是最深、最广的市场也在接受大规模抛售对流动性的考验。交易员们也在关注美国公债市场的波动性，以把握美元的需求状况。
美国财政部长努钦周二警告共和党参议员称，如果未能就拟议的新冠疫情救助计划采取行动，可能导致美国失业率最高升至20%，并导致经济持续遭遇损失。
分析师说：“目前市场尚未消化像2008年那样的金融危机，在信贷利差趋稳和新冠病毒疫情开始放缓之前，市场可能无法确信我们已经完全避免了2008年那种情况。市场还必须考虑到爆发信贷危机的一些可能性。”
鲜有人预期美元买需会消退，投资人几乎想抛售其他所有资产，只求能兑换美元，企业以贷款及保留现金设法渡过这场危机。但黄金前期下跌是受到投资者补充股市保证金的拖累，最终恢复避险资产本色也许只是时间问题。
