英国央行两派战争打响，究竟鹿死谁手？
市场普遍预期英国央行今晚（北京时间8月3日19:00）会维持利率不变。回顾过去一个月的英国央行官员讲话，可以发现成员们“鹰鸽”立场分明，但依旧是“鸽派”占上风。不知今晚是否会真如预期的“鸽声阵阵”呢？
对于此次利率决议，市场普遍预期英国央行会保持基准利率在0.25%不变。这与一个月前的预期出现了较大的变化。而其原因，一方面是由于英国上半年的经济恢复速度不及英国央行预期，另一方面是英国通胀率也有所降温。
经济学家普遍预期，英国央行8月会决定将基准利率维持在0.25%的纪录低点不变。此外，交易员们预期的年底前加息的几率也从6月底时的56%下降到了40%左右。
根据调查结果显示，此次货币政策委员会的投票结果料会是6比2，只有桑德斯和麦卡弗蒂可能会投票支持加息。而分析师的调查预测中值显示，英国央行料将维持利率在0.25%不变直至2019年，年底前升息概率仅30%。
今年6月，英国央行货币政策委员会(MPC)八名成员中有三位赞成加息，行长卡尼随后不久表示，可能很快便会考虑加息。
只有外部委员桑德斯和麦卡弗蒂的鹰派立场依旧坚定，而其他人则都保持较为谨慎的态度。包括曾表示考虑加息的卡尼和霍尔顿表态也谨慎中性了许多。
到了7月18日时，英国6月CPI数据一锤定音。6月英国的CPI意外放缓至2.4%，增速回落的速度创下2015年2月以来最大降幅。这与大部分经济学家的预期都相背——此前大部分经济学家预期英国通胀率会一路走高，并在年底达到2.8%甚至3.0%的高位。
尽管这一数据依旧高于英国央行2%的通胀目标，但卡尼表示：“通胀会在一段时间内高于目标，而今天的数据也和这一预期一致。”
英国通胀的放缓也明显降低了英国央行加息的压力，甚至可以说，在这一数据公布后，市场英国央行8月加息的预期大大降低。
在今年5月英国的通胀率超出预期，因而此后6月15日英国央行委员会出现5:3的投票结果，有三位成员站在了鹰派立场，支持加息。
此外，还要考虑到英国脱欧的难题摆在面前。目前脱欧谈判前景不乐观，经济学家普遍预测英国经济料将维持缓慢增长，且在未来几个月将很容易陷入经济增速疲软状态。不够强劲的经济自然无法支撑英国央行提高利率。
