新年首日投资者大举建立贵金属头寸
因股市和其它风险资产回吐早盘涨幅，投资者买入黄金避险，国际现货黄金周二(1月3日)美市盘中攀升1%，触及近三周高位1163.52美元/盎司。
从金融市场的普遍表现来看，2016年底的市场主题在新年首日交易之初继续发酵，受助于强劲的经济数据，股市上扬，美元指数触及14年新高。但随着交易的逐步展开，美元和股市缩减涨幅，金价受到支撑。
美元自高位回调之际，黄金多头大肆买入黄金。据报道，北京时间00:41一分钟COMEX最活跃的主力2月黄金期货合约成交量达4593手，价值近6亿美金买盘令金价短线上涨至三周高位。
金价在11月8日特朗普当选美国总统后急跌，第四季下跌逾12%。特朗普在大选中获胜，提振了美元，引发公债收益率大幅攀升，提高了持有黄金等无息资产的机会成本，从而削弱了投资者对黄金的胃纳。
美联储暗示今年将进一步升息，这也提振美元，打压黄金。
不过，部分市场人士指出，特朗普胜选可能也提振了投资者对贵金属的兴趣。
“考虑到特朗普这张牌还没有出，我们不会完全放弃黄金，”Sun Global Investments的创始人和执行长Mihir Kapadia表示。
“目前，就连他的推特都能引发股市动荡，一旦他提出任何不合常理的政策提议，更不用说政策落实不当，都可能给市场带来不确定性，从而提振投资者对‘黄金的买兴’。”
因投资者在新年首日纷纷建立头寸，铂金和钯金双双跳涨逾4%，现货白银也收涨逾2%。
现货铂金急升4%，收报935.24美元/盎司，盘中上涨超过5%至945.20美元/盎司高位；现货钯金跳涨4.5%，收报709美元/盎司，盘中升幅高达约5%至718.10美元/盎司高位；现货银上涨2.39%，报16.30美元/盎司。
