德国联邦统计局（FSO）周二（9月8日）公布的数据显示，7月季调后出口月率增长2.4%至1034亿欧元；7月季调后进口增长2.2%至806亿欧元。二者均录得该数据自1991年编纂以来的纪录新高。
德国7月进出口均增至纪录高位，表明国外需求依然强劲且德国国内亦保持良好需求，尽管中国经济放缓。
巴伐利亚银行（BayernLB）经济学家Stefan Kipar表示，德国与美国、英国和整个欧元区的贸易强劲远远抵消新兴市场和中国疲软的不利因素。他指出，外贸和国内需求可能为第三季度经济增长提供动力。
德国2015年初经济增长放缓，但二季度经济小幅回升至0.4%，归因于对外贸易。外贸是推动经济的传统因素，尽管过去两年，个人消费一直是德国经济增长的主要动力。
尽管如此，中国依然是德国面临的风险。IFO研究机构警告称，如果中国经济放缓打击德国经济，则德国出口今年晚些时候可能下滑。
