东南亚黄金交易量出现增大

世界黄金协会最新公布的二季度《黄金需求趋势报告》称，东南亚地区的黄金消费和交易需求正在快速增长。亚洲黄金交易量占全球交易总量的比重已从2010年的57％上升到2013年的63％。过去10年，全球的黄金消费需求增长50％，而东南亚地区增长了250％。
今年9月，新加坡交易所将推出首个纯度为99.99％、重量25公斤的全球性实物黄金合约。新加坡作为地区黄金交易中心的优势不言而喻：靠近中国和印度等全球最主要的黄金消费市场，作为其近邻的印尼、泰国、马来西亚等东南亚国家也是正在快速增长的黄金市场。此外，新加坡成熟的金融体系以及与国际金融市场的深度接轨，也将为其加分不少。
中国上海也在争当地区黄金交易中心这一角色，上海黄金交易所理事长许罗德此前宣布，上交所计划在今年第三季度推出以人民币定价和清算的黄金国际板。今年5月，中国央行已正式批准上海黄金交易所开设国际板业务。
