美國CPI資料超出預期，現貨黃金維持穩定

具體資料顯示，美國2月季調後CPI月率實際公佈0.1%，預期0.0%，前值0.1%。美國2月未季調CPI年率實際公佈2.3%，預期2.2%，前值2.5%。
美國2月CPI月率意外上漲，但未來幾個月有可能下滑，因疫情抑制了部分商品和服務的需求，其影響將超過因供應鏈中斷而帶來的物價上漲。報告顯示上月潛在通脹穩步上升，但不太可能改變市場對美聯儲將在下周降息的預期。
美國通脹水準一直是美聯儲進行貨幣政策調整的核心關切。在近來的美聯儲議息會議聲明當中，美聯儲主席鮑威爾幾乎每一次都提到了當前美國核心通脹水準不達目標，並表示美聯儲對於挽救通脹的決心。
上個月美聯儲主席鮑威爾表示，我們將密切留意疫情的最新進展。目前美國低利率環境可能會限制央行在經濟低迷時期下調利率以支撐經濟的能力，更加可持續的聯邦預算路徑將給予政策制定者在經濟低迷時期運用財政政策的空間，並在更長期內提振經濟增長。鮑威爾預計未來幾個月通脹將接近2%。圍繞貿易的不確定性最近有所減少，但風險猶存。
分析指出，對於今年美國的通脹走勢，從收入的角度來看，當前美國平均週薪同比增速趨勢性向下，平均薪資增速對於核心PCE上行的有所拖累。從投資的角度來看，目前美國投資增速下行明顯，難以起到拉動通脹的作用。從消費的角度來看，美國消費資料邊際向好，保持溫和增長，消費增長或將成為通脹水準上升的動力。
