金價重新走強，美聯儲可能維持寬鬆

1月25日，現貨黃金重新出現上漲，不過美元指數反彈也讓金價難以進一步走強，同時投資者相信美聯儲會維持當前寬鬆貨幣政策，但美國政局的當當前景，財政刺激措施的具體做法，都限制了美元的跌勢。
但美元繼去年下跌近7%後仍保持疲弱趨勢，今年以來僅反彈0.2%。美聯儲目前正在以每年接近1.5萬億美元的速度購買債券。美聯儲主席鮑威爾週三在政策會議結束時預計將暗示，他無意在近期縮減美聯儲的大規模刺激措施。
上周公佈的美國房地產數據表現強勁，製造業數據也顯示其擴張勢頭超過華爾街預期，但疫情不容樂觀蓋過了近期一些樂觀的經濟數據，況且目前仍有近半數的酒店服務人員失業，近一千六百萬美國人繼續領取某種形式的失業救濟金，只有照顧到最弱勢群體，經濟才能全面發展。
目前，美國人存款水準大幅高企，並且有約1.4萬億美元的存款被定性為“超額儲蓄”，而隨著國會通過的9000億美元刺激措施繼續發放支票，1月份該數字可能攀升至1.6萬億美元。因此，不僅不少共和黨人已經對拜登欲推行的1.9萬億美元新冠救助方案的規模顯示出抵觸態度，而且一些經濟學家也發表了不同觀點。
美國會過度刺激經濟增長，導致一旦通貨膨脹失控。雖然自從2008年對金融危機採取大規模對策以來，這樣的擔憂一直被認為是“杞人憂天”，但是隨著刺激經濟的手段被過度使用甚至濫用，最終可能會改變當前的局面，並造成嚴重的問題。
美國眾議院週一將正式起訴前總統特朗普，罪名是他向支持者發表激烈演說煽動暴亂，在這之後國會大廈遭到攻陷，造成人員傷亡。眾院此舉將標誌著特朗普遭到二度彈劾審判的開始。
因此，對前總統特朗普的第二次彈劾審判，可能會給拜登實施抗疫紓困舉措添亂。美元去年幾乎單邊走低的勢頭完全取決於財政擴張，但政治動盪可能會延遲美國推出新的財政措施，2021年的情況很可能不同於2020年。
