現貨黃金多空拉鋸，利好因素支撐多頭

7月14日，現貨黃金下跌至一周新低，但美元指數的震盪以及美國疫情的不斷蔓延，國際關係緊張等情況，限制了金價的下行空間，同時美國公佈的6月季調後CPI月率數月以來首次錄得正增長，讓市場對美元恢復了一定信心。
中國海關總署新聞發言人、統計分析司司長李魁文在週二的國新辦發布會上稱，雙邊經貿關係健康穩定發展，對維護中美兩國經濟穩定、對推動全球經濟儘快擺脫疫情影響都具有十分重要的意義，中美雙方應創造條件和氛圍，排除干擾，共同落實中美第一階段經貿協議。
全球新冠病毒感染人數週一達到1300萬，僅五天就上升了100萬。在六個半月的時間裏，這場疫情已經造成50多萬人死亡。全球一半以上的感染病例和一半的死亡病例都發生在美洲。
新冠疫情改變了企業的運作方式。市場關注焦點已經轉向下一輪抗疫封鎖措施是否足以破壞經濟增長，以及新的貿易摩擦。任何一方面的負面進展都可能導致風險資產下跌，並促使避險資金流入黃金。

但6月通脹數據向好不會改變美聯儲和白宮繼續向陷入困境的經濟體注入資金的決心。隨著新冠病例及住院人數大增，一些地區再次實施封鎖措施，可能會削弱企業和消費者的信心，同時減緩經濟復蘇進程。美聯儲和白宮有望進一步擴大對經濟的刺激，通脹預期抬頭有利於金價走強。
特朗普一直在推動學校在秋季新學年開學時能夠複課，並威脅對那些拒絕複課的學校進行懲罰，扣壓對這些學校的聯邦資金支持，或者取消他們的免稅資格。美國教育部長Betsy DeVos上周日在電視講話中繼續施壓，稱孩子們需要回到教室。
在新冠病毒尚未被成功遏制前，特朗普政府急於推動學校複課，意在打擊民主黨控制的教師工會。在距離大選不到4個月之際，學校已經成為兩黨選戰新的擂臺，特朗普正想盡一切方法，撈取政治資本。黃金顯然也受到政治不確定性帶來的利多因素支撐。
