6月29日，現貨黃金維持震盪走勢，但整體價格維持在上漲趨勢，同時最近眾多基本面因素都在支撐金價多頭。同時疫情的二次爆發、股市再次探底等危機仍不可忽視，本周最大因素為非農6月就業報告以及美聯儲主席鮑威爾的證詞。
新冠疫情再度爆發擔憂肆起，市場期待美國政府推出更多財政刺激計畫，但政府還是遲遲未推出，這可能會讓原本期待經濟能V型復蘇的投資者憂心忡忡。股市二次探底的擔憂升溫，這可能會使得投資者增加避險黃金的配置，支援金價。
企業也將再次承受它的壓力，儘管根據《CARES法案》，很多部門都接受了貸款。但如果對企業沒有更多的刺激措施，隨著新冠肺炎感染病例和死亡人數不斷上升，美國各州再次封鎖經濟，企業可能面臨第二波不良財務狀況的風險。許多公司可能無法在二次封鎖中生存下來。

市場參與者也在尋求未來幾周美國國會是否會推出更多財政刺激舉措的線索。眾議院5月通過了3萬億美元援助議案，但共和黨控制的參議院尚未審議，預計國會要到7月才會著手另一個應對新冠疫情的議案。
分析認為，一旦拜登勝選，特朗普在任時期實施的，以及準備實施的財政刺激計畫將會結束，這將是股市的最大風險。
此前，當地時間20日晚，特朗普在奧克拉荷馬州的塔爾薩重啟連任競選集會，特朗普競選團隊此前宣稱有100萬人報名參加此次活動，但當天出席集會的僅有6200人。報導稱，總統“氣得冒煙”。報導評論稱，特朗普本來希望通過此次集會展示實力，但卻將自己的弱點暴露無遺。
