現貨黃金大幅走弱，美元流動性面臨威脅

6月15日，現貨黃金出現大幅走弱，由於市場擔心全球可能出現第二輪的疫情爆發，會讓美元流動性重新變得稀缺，投資者選擇拋售包括黃金在內的資產，同時美元指數目前維持在反彈勢頭，加上目前美國內部的問題，可能會惡化疫情形勢。
美國有更多州出現新冠病毒新病例數和住院人數創紀錄。全國來看，上週六(6月13日)新增病例超過25000人，為5月2日以來的最大單日增幅，部分原因在於過去六周的檢測大幅增加。
據統計，阿拉斯加州、亞利桑那州、阿肯色州、加利福尼亞州、佛羅里達州、北卡萊羅納州、奧克拉荷馬州和南卡萊羅納州過去三天的新增病例數均創紀錄。之前曾是疫情嚴重地區之一的路易斯安那州新增病例再次超過1200人，為5月21日以來最大增幅。
可以理解的是，市場參與者仍對新的疫情擴散風險持高度警惕態度。他們擔心可能發生第二波感染，或者憂心有些州根本沒有控制住其第一波疫情。當疫情展現出不確定性時，美元指數往往會反彈。
抗議者上週六阻斷了亞特蘭大的一條高速公路，燒毀了一家位於Wendy的餐廳。此前，27歲的黑人男子Rayshard Brooks在該餐廳試圖拒捕時被員警擊斃。據稱開槍擊斃Brooks的員警已被解雇，另一名涉事員警已被行政休假，兩名員警均為白人。
美國許多州的衛生官員將病例激增部分歸因於5月末陣亡將士紀念日時的週末集會以及隨後波及全美的大規模抗議活動。現在的情況基本上是，病例數將會增加，疫情方面的任何不好消息都可能引發黃金拋盤。
歐洲國家在新冠疫情封鎖舉措實施後，週一放寬了部分邊境管制。此舉可能有助於在夏季挽救歐洲倍受打擊的觀光與旅遊業。觀光旅遊加上娛樂和文化業，幾乎占歐盟經濟的10%。
但西班牙繼續維持關閉。旅遊業在地中海國家所占的比重更高，受疫情衝擊最為嚴重的歐洲國家恰恰集中在此。其他地方實施的一系列限制措施以及居家辦公的工作方式，意味著距離恢復疫情前的旅行水準還很遠。
