美國四季度GDP好壞各有，金價出現震盪

1月30日，美國公佈四季度GDP以及消費資料，資料結果喜憂參半，黃金出現短線震盪走勢，美國第四季度GDP與前值持平，高於預期值，但美國第四季度GDP核心物價指數低於預期。
具體資料顯示，美國第四季度實際GDP年化季率初值錄得2.1%，持平前值，且高於預期值0.1個百分點。
但美國第四季度核心PCE物價指數年化季率初值錄得1.30%，低於預期值0.3個百分點，遠遜於前值2.10%。該資料也是美聯儲決策最為倚重的指標。
但美聯儲對家庭支出的評估從去年12月的“強勁增長”略微降至“溫和”增長。美聯儲還指出，企業固定投資和出口“依然疲軟”。
由於通脹資料較為疲軟，使得GDP資料較預期錄得更高，但名義GDP仍疲軟。按此次第四季度GDP資料計算，2019年美國經濟增速為2.3%，2018年為2.9%，這應該是自2016年以來經濟增速最慢的一年；
美國12月商品貿易逆差大幅增加，因進口反彈，且企業對積累庫存更加謹慎。樓市也傳來一些令人沮喪的消息，12月成屋待完成銷售指數降幅為逾九年半來最大。
美國總統特朗普週三在簽署了新的美墨加協定(USMCA)，它將取代26年之久的北美自由貿易協定(NAFTA)，對勞動力和汽車零部件施加了更為嚴格的規定，但三個國家間1.2萬億美元的總體貿易規模維持不變。
特朗普表示該協定將提振美國經濟增長，讓農民、工人和製造商受益。對NAFTA引發工作崗位外流的擔憂促使特朗普決定2016年競選美國總統。
美國經濟在今年這個大選年將處於良好的基礎上，但國會預算辦公室也指出，目前的狀況將導致“在平均通脹率和利率10年來都保持在低位後，出現更高的通脹和利率”。
美聯儲主席鮑威爾在上日的記者會上表示，突發公共衛生事件是一個非常嚴重的問題，可能會在全球造成混亂，目前對宏觀經濟的影響還不確定。美聯儲正在密切監測其影響。
與美聯儲政策利率相關的短期利率期貨合約繼續反映出市場預期，即美聯儲將維持利率不變直到9月，交易商預期美聯儲9月降息以提振經濟成長的可能性高於不降息的可能性。
