如果美聯儲本周發出信號，暗示還沒有十分擔心病毒對經濟增長造成的風險，投資者就應押注美元將延續近期漲勢。該行分析師稱，美聯儲關於病毒影響經濟的訊息，可能對交易者評估未來數月政策路徑至關重要。
分析師稱，對投資者和政策制定者而言，消化潛在經濟影響為時尚早。如果美聯儲決定顯示官員們當前還不感到擔憂，就很可能降低人們對降息近在眼前的預期，從而提振美元。如果美聯儲看起來“偏鷹派”，投資者應看多美元。
