黃金因美聯儲放鴿而獲得多頭，但仍需注意
11月29日，現貨黃金價格連續上漲，美元一度下跌。鮑威爾暗示美聯儲加息接近尾聲，這和上個月鮑威爾的言論大相庭徑。同時因美聯儲11月會議紀要的影響力有限，投資者對G20峰會有著更多的興趣。若中美無法緩和貿易關係，金價將出現重大變化。
鮑威爾隔夜發表的鴿派言論令匯市大感意外。他指稱目前為2-2.25%的政策利率“略低於”中性利率預估區間——9月預估為2.5%-3.5%。
這種觀點顯然與10月看法截然不同，當時鮑威爾表示美聯儲可能會將利率提高到超過中性水準，並稱距離那個水準可能還有“很長的路要走”。市場更多的是關注鮑威爾對目前利率水準的評估對未來加息路徑意味著什麼，而不是這些微妙之處。
這一改變已反映到金融市場中，指標10年期美債收益率週四跌至9月18日以來低位2.995%，加重美元偏空氣氛。匯通網注意到，對未來一年美聯儲升息幅度的預期已從本周稍早的52個基點降至約47個基點。
鮑威爾的措辭轉趨鴿派之際，正值美國總統特朗普加大力度抨擊他的升息政策，特朗普認為升息正在削弱他的經濟和貿易政策。稍早前，特朗普對華盛頓郵報表示，他對這位美聯儲主席“一點也不滿意”。
目前美國經濟擴張已經處於第九個年頭，創紀錄第二長，但前路陰雲正在積聚。海外經濟放緩的跡象，以及近兩個月的市場波動，包括上周的大幅拋售，給原本在很大程度上十分亮麗的美國經濟前景蒙上了陰影。
考慮到即將召開20國集團(G20)峰會，美國總統特朗普和中國國家主席習近平將在峰會間隙討論貿易問題，鮑威爾言論引發的美元疲勢料有限，交易員對於建立大量美元空倉可能會非常謹慎。
外交部發言人耿爽在週四的例行新聞發佈會上回應稱，自今年7月1日起，中國已主動將進口汽車關稅從25%降至15%。但是受美方挑起的貿易摩擦影響，自7月6日起，中方對多數列入中方加稅清單中的自美進口汽車，在15%稅率的基礎上加征了25%的關稅，合計稅率達到了40%。也就是說，如果沒有美方挑起的貿易摩擦，沒有美方加征關稅的舉措，目前中國對美汽車徵收的關稅應該是15%。
