黃金可能被高估，空頭再次趁機出手
黃金和美元此前市場的大部分規律是呈現反向走勢，然而在2018年初至今卻出現了同時上漲的跡象，這是由於隱含通脹預期所導致的，現在來看黃金價格的下跌是對此前過高預期的修正。
在2018年以前的大部分時間，黃金價格和美債收益率都各自在相反的對標軌道中運行，這一點即使是在2016年上半年負利率的大背景下，也被證明是正確的。黃金作為“間接升息”的資產的確出現了一波明顯上漲，但隨即而來的緊縮貨幣政策也使得其應聲下跌。
然而，最近這半年來，這一局勢似乎出現了逆轉。近期，最熱議的話題當屬美債收益率持續攀升，非美資產（包括黃金、其他各國貨幣）都出現了重挫。但當我們把眼光拉長，著眼於黃金和美債周線走勢圖對比的時候，卻驚奇地發現他們同時出現了上漲，而且這一現象已經持續了有近半年。
首先，對於黃金先要有一個定義，黃金是一種接近貨幣的特殊商品。既然是商品，那傳統的供求關係肯定會影響其價格，另外只要在市場流動性充足的情況下，通脹與大宗商品的價格上漲最為緊密，而美國債券市場作為全球最大的美元資產的配置領域，其中的長短期債券的利率對於通脹具有前瞻性的意義。
市場對於通脹保持謹慎態度，甚至美聯儲自己也這麼認為。從此前的利率決議聲明中，刪除了此前3月“美國經濟強勁”的措詞，顯示其經濟信心有所回落，對於通脹也保持一個中立的態度，符合市場定價。
除了市場的信心不足，造成這一現象的主要原因是匯率隱含的利率變動和債券市場的利差變動出現背離。但與此同時，黃金市場的隱含通脹預期的下降幅度有限。下圖為通脹保值債券和黃金的隱含波動率對比。
黃金和債券市場這種由於隱含通脹預期不同導致定價出現的暫時性偏差，將會被修復。有兩種情況，一是市場對於長期通脹的預期過低，黃金價格被低估，黃金市場的定價是正確的；二是市場儘管短期美聯儲加息節奏使得短期通脹有所上升，但長期通脹仍值得堪憂，黃金的價格被過高預估，債券市場的定價才是正確的。現在來看，很明顯在往第二種情況的預期方向走，若最終結論成立，則料黃金還有更大的跌幅，是一個糾錯的過程。
