近日，美元指数展开进一步回调的状况，给到了非美货币反击的机会，其中黄金一举回归1200关口上方，这得益于近段时间的消息面，比方上周的鲍威尔大放鸽派，可能会持续影响到九月份的加息态度，另外中美贸易虽然持续出现争端，但是北美方面达成新一轮的共识，有望解决贸易纷争，这让前期得益的美元出现获利回吐。
美墨达成贸易协议
美国贸易代表办公室昨日宣布，美国正式与墨西哥就北美自由贸易协定达成协议，该协议将不使用北美自由贸易协议这一名称，而一旦加拿大谈判后加入，那基本上可以说是北美自由贸易协定的2.0版本，如果三方能达成协议，那将意味着北美贸易战休战。
进入下半年以来，我们都知道特朗普到处开打贸易战，其中就曾经伤害到了他的邻国加拿大和墨西哥，而当时这两国也是作出了强硬的态度反制裁美国，这也是当时美元进一步走强的主要原因，随着欧美贸易缓和，北美贸易一旦解决，那么此前美元的涨幅将会得到缩减，倘若今后美国与中方达成共识，那么贸易担忧将会消失，届时美元或重归跌势。
加拿大也正在谈判
不过要真正意义上，达成北美自由贸易协议，还需要加拿大的加入才算完满，这一点特朗普也是相当重视，所以不断威胁加拿大若不加入将会单独和墨西哥达成协议，并且可能会诉诸汽车关税。
据报道，加拿大外长发言人表示，新的NAFTA上需要加拿大的签字，受到谈判伙伴积极态度的鼓舞，将继续就达成现代化的NAFTA努力，加拿大外长弗里兰将在周二前往华盛顿参加北美自由贸易协定谈判，由此可见，三方达成协议的可能性还是比较大的，现在我们回过头来看可以用两点来解读目前特朗普的贸易手段，第一，实际只是针对中国，与欧洲北美都是一场戏，第二，只是为了中期选举，选举后可能依旧和中国重归于好。
