英国何时升息？或在明年春天

景气好转的英国到底何时升息？英国央行(BOE)官员Martin Weale 20日给出至今最明确的答案，称可能在明年春天调升当前0.5%的历史低利。
彭博社和路透社报导，Weale表示，试着解释利率的可能走向将很有帮助，明年春天或许会首度升息，之后升息过程应会相对和缓。他在接受Sky New电视访问时做出以上表示。
Weale同时指出，如果平均薪资调涨速度快过预期，不排除提前升息。他说升息可能会在明年5月英国国会大选之前，尽管选举期间不易调整利率，但是竞选活动将持续三周之久。Weale属于鹰派，去年8月曾投票反对英国央行的部份前瞻指引。
Weale说法和英国央行首席经济学家Spencer Dale不谋而合。Dale 13日接受BBC广播访问也说，市场预期基准利率到明年春天之前都会维持在0.5%，2016年底将升至2%左右。
英镑兑美元闻讯一度止跌回升，但是随后又恢复接近平盘。21日上午11点17分(GMT+8)为止，英镑兑美元下挫0.01%至1.6654。
彭博社17日报导，英国央行总裁卡尼(Mark Carney)接受BBC专访时指出，央行将确保就业、收入、支出皆呈现可持续成长之后才会开始升息。
CNBC和华尔街日报报导，英国央行12日公布季度通膨报告中，大幅调升2014年展望，由先前预估的成长2.8%，上修至3.4%；并修改了6个月前发布的前瞻指引，不再把升息与特定指标挂勾。央行总裁卡尼指出，央行的货币政策委员会(MPC)将关注更广泛领域的指标，包括劳动参与率、平均工时、生产力、工资等。
