加息预期不敌通胀忧虑，金价强劲反弹愈40美元
9月27日-10月1日当周，由于美元指数刷新了去年9月下旬以来的高点位置至94.504，导致现货黄金价格大幅走低，并且一度创下了8月上旬以来的低位至1721.4美元/盎司。但随着周中时间美元指数涨幅缩水，金价出现强劲反弹并收回所有周内跌幅，最终收盘小涨10美元至1758.7美元/盎司。
美国8月个人支出强劲增长
美国8月PCE物价指数同比增长4.3%，增幅创1991年以来最大；核心PCE物价指数同比增长3.6%，与1991年以来的最高水平一致；8月个人支出环比增长0.8%，增速高于预期值0.6%，受商品采购驱动。这些数据表明，尽管新冠病例增加，但美国8月份的消费者需求依然强劲。支出增加的原因是商品支出，特别是食品和家庭用品大幅增长，可能反映出由于对疫情的担忧加剧，人们避免外出就餐和旅游。
美国国会通过权宜支出法案
上周周四美国众议院通过了覆盖时间达九周的权宜支出法案，得益于此美国政府停摆风险暂时消除，随后该法案将送交总统拜登签署。另外，由于遭到共和党的强烈反对，此前民主党人将暂停债务上限纳入权宜支出法案的想法被破放弃。而根据该法案，联邦政府将可维持运转，直至今年的12月3日。
