就业数据不佳美元回落，黄金一度突破1760
周四(9月30日)随着能源价格飙升并且股市下跌，美元兑多数G-10货币下跌，大宗商品货币领涨，日元在连续六天下跌后反弹。诸多风险令投资者担忧，标普500指数9月累跌4.8%，创出去年3月以来最大月度跌幅。现货黄金尾盘涨超30美元，收于1757美元附近，结束两日连续下跌趋势，但美元和美债收益率走强，仍使黄金价格在9月录得3%跌幅。油价收高，WTI原油期货连续第六个季度录得涨幅，交易员押注海外原油需求增加。
美国国会通过权宜支出法案 联邦政府得以避免关门
美国众议院通过了覆盖九周时间的权宜支出法案，可使政府免于停摆。周四早些时候该法案已获参议院通过，现在将送交总统拜登签署。因遭到共和党强烈反对，此前民主党人放弃了将暂停债务上限纳入权宜支出法案的想法。根据该法案，联邦政府将维持运转直至12月3日。
耶伦重申上调债务上限
美国财长耶伦重申，如果国会山未能上调债务上限，将引发一场“灾难”。如果国会山能通过跨党派的方式上调债务上限，将具有重要意义。支持国会山永久性地取消债务上限措施。对财政部发行的债券规模任意设置上限会限制该部门承担国会和总统已经批准的法案的能力，是没有意义的。
