乐观情绪消褪，黄金现较大跌幅

10月19日，由于美元走弱，加上市场对财政刺激计划达成的预期再度乐观，结合英国脱欧的不确定性，现货黄金出现较大涨幅。但之后美股大跌，美元指数出现回升，市场的乐观情绪明显消退，金价回落。
分析师表示，金价因美元下跌而走强，且市场相信未来48小时内将出台某种刺激方案；人们认为，到下个季度我们将进入一个通胀时期。所以他们会在这方面先行一步。
美国财政部长姆努钦与众议院议长佩洛西将于周一下午通话讨论刺激方案。此前，佩洛西把周二设为大选前达成协议的最后期限。
英国拒绝了欧盟方面恢复贸易谈判的努力，称尽管欧盟主动提出开始起草法律文本，但英方依然没有看到恢复正式谈判的基础。
美国总统特朗普表示，他准备给出与民主党要求的2.2万亿美元刺激计划相同甚至更大的规模，而参议院多数党领袖米奇·麦康奈尔已经多次警告说，共和党参议员多数会反对如此大规模的纾困计划。
纽市尾盘，美股大跌，道指一度跌逾460点，标普500指数跌1.76%，纳指跌1.69%；美元指数较日低回升25点至97.45附近，似乎意味着投资者对美国短期出台财政救助方案已不抱太大希望，这令金价承压。
数据显示，对冲基金和其他大型投机者截至10月13日当周对黄金的看跌押注增加至2019年年中以来的最高值。交易所交易基金也出现大量资金流出，根据彭博的初步统计上周五黄金持有量减少了6吨以上。
