美元走軟，現貨黃金大漲

10月1日，現貨黃金出現明顯上漲，刷新近日以來的最高點，而美元指數則跌至一周新低，由於投資者目前將注意力集中在財政刺激談判以及週五公佈的就業報告情況，因此現貨黃金對投資者仍有較大的吸引力。
黃金價格攀升，因為脆弱的經濟資料令投資者擔心。美國8月消費者開支增長1%，但增幅為美國經濟重啟以來的最低值。美國供應管理協會（ISM）9月製造業指數從8月份的56%下降至54.6%。上述經濟資料證實美國正在喪失經濟復蘇動力，如果沒有新的刺激措施，經濟復蘇將陷入停滯。
美元上周因避險買盤而大幅上漲，但本周回落，因為焦點轉向美國經濟，國會和政府加大了對刺激方案的談判努力，以及首場總統辯論。除非美國就刺激方案做出決定，否則美元可能繼續承壓，進而支撐黃金。
沒有一個地方可以把你的錢投進去以獲得不錯的收益。來自經濟刺激計畫的資金將進入黃金市場。我認為情況在好轉之前還會變得更糟，因此金價將受益，回升至2000美元。
隨著更多公司宣佈裁員（包括早些時候得到聯邦援助的航空公司），雙方面臨越來越大的壓力，11月3日大選的臨近令採取行動的時間所剩無幾，可是民主黨和白宮在刺激方案的總規模及援助款分配方式方面仍存在很大分歧。
9月白銀市場大幅走低，從最高的29美元跌至23美元/盎司下方。近期美元的回升使得整個貴金屬市場都大幅承壓。不過銀價的回升即將到來，主要就是受到金價回升和製造業需求的升溫。總體而言，金價的上漲將能夠提振銀價到今年年末和明年年末回升至25美元及27美元/盎司。
