如果該法案在11月選舉之前獲得通過，將有助于風險情緒。美元走弱和通脹預期上升，可能推高金價，但大選前的緊張情緒令投資者保持謹慎，黃金上行動能暫時不足。
媒體看好拜登
市場目前仍在等待美國大選首場競選辯論的影響發酵，美國有線電視新聞網(CNN)對辯論觀衆進行的民意調查顯示，六成辯論觀衆認為前副總統拜登在辯論中表現更好，只有28%的人認為總統特朗普表現更好。這與2016年特朗普和希拉裏·克林頓第一場辯論後的民調結果大致相同。
華爾街似乎偏向特朗普
然而華爾街的反應似乎不同，在辯論結束後股指期貨一度承壓，但隨著解讀的深入，美國股市開盤後高開高走，金融市場的表現似乎更加偏向于特朗普。因為拜登的加稅政策被認為是股市的一大利空，另一方面，原油價格和原油類股同樣全線走高，這點也在一定程度上展現出市場對特朗普選情的樂觀預期，因特朗普和拜登最大的一個政策分歧就在于傳統能源行業，拜登是全力支持新能源，而特朗普則同時會關注傳統能源。
