製造業不及預期，金價再度上漲

7月24日， 美國公佈PMI製造業數據，但數據的表現疲弱且不及預期，數據公佈後，美元指數短線下挫，而現貨黃金則短線走高。分析師稱，美國的製造業數據顯示了美國經濟第三季度的疲軟。
具體數據顯示，美國7月Markit製造業PMI初值實際公佈50，創2009年9月以來新低，預期51.0，前值50.6。
分析師稱，美國PMI數據顯示美國經濟第三季度開局疲軟。製造業和服務業PMI數據表明美國經濟增速年率僅為1.6%，較第二季度顯示的1.5%略微上升。
分析師指出，未來前景跌至2012年以來最差，表明未來數月企業將考慮收緊開支，這會導致開支、投資和就業的增長下降。地緣政治和貿易擔憂以及國內外經濟增長放緩均打壓了企業樂觀情緒。
此外，和製造業數據一起公佈的服務業數據則表現好於預期，具體數據顯示，美國7月Markit服務業PMI初值實際公佈52.20，預期51.80，前值51.50。
除了製造業數據，美國方面還公佈了6月份的季調後新屋銷售數據，該數據表現不及預期，但好於前值，對市場影響有限。具體數據顯示，美國6月季調後新屋銷售年化總數實際公佈64.6萬戶，預期65.8萬戶，前值62.6萬戶。
在美國製造業數據公佈前，歐洲時段歐元區公佈的製造業PMI數據表現疲弱。加劇了市場對全球經濟前景擔憂的情緒。
分析指出，製造業已成為令人擔憂的問題。地緣政治憂慮、英國脫歐、日益加劇的貿易摩擦，尤其是汽車行業不斷惡化的表現，使製造業陷入更深的衰退，歐元區經濟前景非常黯淡，普遍預期是未來一年還將更加艱難。
一年多來，在諸多不利因素的影響下，歐元區經濟一直停滯不前，歐洲央行的政策制定者已經在為新的寬鬆政策奠定基礎。經濟學家預計，將在本週四發出降息信號，然後在9月份採取行動。
全球經濟放緩的憂慮，增加了避險情緒，推動了金價上行，市場對下周美聯儲降息50基點的預期再度燃起。
