中国大陆黄金入口量下跌

香港政府统计处的市场监察数据用来衡量中国大陆的入口量。数据显示6月份香港出口至中国大陆的黄金净数量下跌至36吨，而去年同期的出口量为101吨，较去年同期下跌64%。
汇丰银行引用数据指出香港出口至中国大陆的总数量由2013年6月的113吨下跌至56吨，而入口至香港的总数量则由12吨上升至20吨。今年至今中国大陆黄金入口量较去年同期下跌。汇丰银行认为这现象是因为2013年黄金价格下跌，促使中国大陆黄金消费者的买兴急升。2013年香港出口至中国大陆的黄金净数量创下纪录新高，高达1109吨。
另外，据印度消费税和海关中央委员会（CBEC）数据显示，在2013年至2014财年间，共截获1750起黄金走私，价值约56.4亿卢比。
目前，黄金和家畜以及毒品一起，成为印度最受欢迎的走私品。
由于去年印度政府对黄金进口进行限制，印度的黄金走私大幅增加。CBEC在2013至2014财年截获1750起黄金走私，而在2012至2013财年，仅截获871起，价值9.9亿卢比，而2011至2012年，截获走私黄金价值仅仅4.2亿卢比。
走私进印度的贵金属大多来自阿联酋、新加坡、斯里兰卡、尼泊尔和中国香港。大部分在印度的国际机场内被截获，此外，还有从海路走私的渠道。
