印度机构称黄金进口决定不公

印度高院在周四命令所有印度的贸易和商业部门提供为文件，展示其允许一些私人贸易行进口黄金所做出的决定的决策过程。
这一提案由德里黄金和首饰工作协会(DBJWA)提交。下一次听证将在9月23日举行。
DBJWA认为，印度政府在没有考虑经常账户赤字(CAD)扩大的情况下就做出上述决定是“令人生疑”的，并且认为，这一决定使得一部分珠宝商收益可以获得黄金，但却使另一些珠宝商无法获取黄金，这样对珠宝商的黄金投资来说，明显是不公。
在莫迪政府上台后，对于印度放松黄金进口限制的猜测就一直没有停过，在今年5月21日，团结进步联盟政府允许一部分贸易行进口黄金，而莫迪政府则在5月24日正式上任，并且在上月的预算案中，并未对黄金进口政策做出任何修改。
DBJWA认为，增加贸易行进口黄金的决定使得一些机构拥有了特权。“政府怎么可以在整个国家都面临黄金短缺的情况下让几个珠宝商受益呢？”
另外，据数据显示，印度多商品交易市场(MCE)在周三到期的8月期金出现了1100公斤的交割。上一次MCX出现超过1000公斤黄金的交割还是在2013年4月，而当时印度即将开始征收商品交易税，这引发了市场的混乱。2014年2月，黄金交割量一度跌到仅仅4公斤，不过此后在6月开始回升。
