德国不取回存储美联储黄金

在2013年1月16日德国央行称要在2020年之前从法兰西银行和美联储分别取回其存储的374吨和300吨黄金。18个月后的现在，德国央行总共只拿回了37吨黄金。这37吨中有5吨来自美联储，其余32吨来自巴黎。
德国央行所拥有的3396吨黄金中，美联储存储了其中的45%，价值大约6亿3500万美元。正因为德国央行拿回黄金速度之慢，市场对美联储还剩下多少黄金有所怀疑。
德国总理默克尔的基督民主党议会发言人说：“美国人很好的照看着我们的黄金。完全没有理由不信任他们。”
这一举动被认为将避免可能对美国和德国之间关系带来的不和谐影响。并且这也是对宣称应当将所有黄金拿回德国的德国反欧元党的反对。
基督民主党的成员在5月曾经说：“我认为黄金储备应该被存储在紧急时候需要的地方。”在去年德国央行宣布将拿回黄金时，曾有传言称美联储在之前几个月曾拒绝其查看的要求。德国央行董事会成员则在今年2月称“德国央行和美联储有着非常好的关系。”
除了法国和美国，德国央行还有一部分黄金被存于英格兰银行。
2011年11月，委内瑞拉从英格兰银行伦敦金库中取回了自己的180吨黄金，转存于该国央行位于加拉加斯的金库中。
