印度有望兑现放宽黄金进口管制

路透援引印度黄金珠宝商协会的消息称，印度政府部门正在四处核对金条数量与进口数据是否吻合。
美国福四通集团（INTL FCSTONE INC.）商品投顾Edward Meir表示，“印度政府的措施希望打击走私，但实质上会加剧印度国内实物黄金短缺的压力。”
此前有消息称，印度政府考虑在2月末放宽黄金进口限制，但目前似乎会押后至3月。
印度贸易部长周二在接受外媒采访时表示，已经和政府官员对是否放宽部分黄金进口管制进行了讨论，同时黄金珠宝行业是印度出口的重要板块，一些政策需要做到平衡。我们必须确保国内黄金珠宝首饰行业的合适供应量，毕竟黄金首饰行业是印度出口十分重要的一环。
印度财长Palaniappan Chidambaram曾在1月27日指出，只要经常帐赤字得到控制，可能会在今年3月末放宽管制。
