贵金属交易：钯金和铂金价格将持续上涨

11月19日报导，美国达拉斯金属交易商Dillon Gage Metals总裁Terry Hanlon表示，铂金与钯金价格分别在今年夏天写下4年新低以及9个月新低，但随后已经开始回升，主要受到供需基本面的支撑，并预期铂金与钯金价格将持续上涨至2014年。Hanlon指出，主要生产国南非的供应问题，以及中国大陆汽车与首饰市场的需求增加，为铂金与钯金提供相当坚实的基本面支撑。
法国兴业银行（Societe Generale）19日报告指出，南非铂族金属产业持续面临的劳工问题将对铂族金属的价格构成支撑，并可能令铂族金属与金价分道扬镳。南非Northam Platinum的Zondereinde矿正面临罢工问题，虽然该矿占南非铂金产量不到5%。除了劳工问题之外，电力问题也是影响生产的一大因素。几乎供应南非所有用电的Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd.本周甫发出紧报，要求工业用户减少用电至少10%，以避免大规模的轮流限电。
花旗研调（Citi Research）11月18日报告认为铂金与钯金的供需基本面对其价格的支撑相当正面，其中钯金尤佳。钯金是今年表现最佳的贵金属，年初至今约有6%涨幅，也是贵金属当中唯一上涨的。花旗预估至明年底前钯金价格将会接近每盎司900美元，主要受到汽车市场以及投资需求的带动，明年第四季的钯金均价预估将达850美元，全年均价则预估为800美元。花旗预估2014年铂金均价将为每盎司1,500美元，其中第四季均价将来到1,525美元，约较目前价位有5%的上涨空间。
庄信万丰（Johnson Matthey）11月12日公布报告指出，由于工业与投资需求的增长弥补了汽车与首饰市场的需求下滑，2013年铂金市场的供给短缺预估将创下1999年以来的新高；钯金市场的供给缺口则可望缩减，因消费下滑的速度超过了供给的增长。报告预估，今年铂金市场的供给缺口将较上年度扩增78%至60.5万盎司，钯金市场的供给短缺则可望较上年度缩减36%至74万盎司。
