随着美国疫苗接种和大规模刺激计划提振通胀预期，美国10年期国债收益率回升至1.7，势必使得投资者回想起前几周美债高筑的施压。美元指数也强势起涨，甚至刷新四个月高点至93.35，投资者目前仍着眼于即将公布的美国总统拜登新基础建设计划。
此前有政治策略师预计，拜登也即将推出针对个人和企业的增税提案。简而言之，拜登的基础设施计划正在等待新的动力，目前尚未能对黄金走势发挥作用。
美元也成为美国股市的避风港，美国避险基金Archegos Capital传出爆仓危机后，美国股市的科技股也表现不佳，美股隔夜四大指数也微幅收黑，道琼斯指数更是从历史高位滑落超过100点。美元高点可能归因于黄金的最新疲软，而乐观的美国基本面和避险情绪，都可能是美元走强的关键因素。
再来谈到新冠疫苗方面，法国、德国和英国之间在激烈竞争中展开疫苗合作，而亚洲各个国家和地区都在疫苗方面展现出更积极的面向。香港和台湾地区都已经展开疫苗接种计划，日本和韩国也马不停蹄展开行动。

中美地缘政治战持续升温，美国重申反对中国干预香港政治，英国贸易大臣利兹·特鲁斯(Liz Truss)也敦促全球领导人对中国采取强硬态度，并向中国展示西方国家的不满。
显示黄金牛市的停滞已经维持一段时间，而比特币可能是造成金价挫折的主要元凶。
