拜登将大修美国基建
美国国会通过了总统拜登提议的1.9万亿美元疫情救助法案。该计划包括向大多数美国人直接发放1400美元的救济金，每周400美元的失业补助，以及延长使数百万美国人有资格获得失业保险的项目。该计划还将发放200亿美元用于新冠病毒疫苗接种，500亿美元用于检测，3500亿美元用于州、地方和社区政府的救济。
道明证券高级美国利率策略师说，市场对更多刺激措施感到不安，担忧通胀上升风险，并担心量化宽松减码，套利和仓位止损可能加剧了黄金抛售。
抗疫成果，欧美天壤之别
本周稍早拜登曾表示，到4月19日，90%的美国成年人将有资格接种疫苗；5月底之前，疫苗产量应该足以供应所有成年人。据分析师估计，3月份美国三种授权疫苗的月产量将达到1.32亿剂，是2月份4800万剂的近三倍。
随着纾困法案中的金融刺激措施实施，而且越来越多的人接种疫苗，拜登也表达了乐观情绪。相比之下，欧洲疫情却出现了新的恶化，一些欧洲国家仍在实施最严格的旅行限制举措，这进一步提升了美元的避险魅力。
德国总理默克尔称，将向地方政府施压，要求强化疫情应对措施，以抑制新冠病例数增加。知情人士称，法国总统马克龙3月31日晚些时候很可能将宣布全国性措施，以遏制新冠病毒感染病例激增。这将标志着地区性措施方法的终结。
金属交易总监表示：“对未来经济的乐观情绪继续推动债券收益率走高，这肯定让包括黄金在内的许多大宗商品市场失去了动能。”
澳洲国民银行大宗商品研究主管表示：“在美国收益率上升、经济复苏、疫苗接种、以及投资人对于成长前景更为乐观的环境下，(黄金)避险需求将会迟滞。”
