金价窄幅波动,英国脱欧和央行年会成市场关注点

9月7日,由于美国劳动节假期休市,现货黄金保持了窄幅波动的走向,出现小幅度下跌,但基本面很多因素都在支撑金价,如英国硬脱欧的忧虑重新出现,各国央行宽松政策如何变化等,加上疫情期间的金价经济前景等因素,都将支撑金价。
随着英国与欧盟贸易谈判失败的几率增加,英镑本周周一走低,日内短线在英镑走低的带动下,美元走强,但金价的下行压力较小,主要因为市场对英国硬脱欧的担忧情绪也增加。如果这种担忧情绪持续挥之不去,那么这反而会在中期给黄金带来支撑。
近日,负责英国脱欧事务的欧盟首席谈判代表巴尼耶批评英国在谈判中缺乏诚意,表现令人失望。欧洲理事会主席巴尼耶表示,不确定欧盟与英国能否在今年年底前就未来关系达成协议。即将于8日举行的英欧第八轮谈判,是目前双方日程表上的最后一轮谈判。
英国“脱欧”过渡期将于今年12月31日结束。在过渡期内,英国与欧盟需要谈判达成新的自由贸易协议。如果未能达成协议,双方的贸易关系将回到世界贸易组织框架内。今年以来,英国与欧盟就未来关系已经举行了7轮谈判,但均未能在未来经贸协议等方面取得突破性进展。
对于新冠病毒对经济的冲击,鲍威尔再次表示,他鼓励遵守安全准则,例如戴口罩和保持社交距离。他说,实际上,如果在全国范围内人们都戴着口罩并保持距离,美国将可以获得巨大的经济收益。
虽然上周美国非农就业报告表现良好,但美联储主席鲍威尔依然谨慎,称在未来若干年,美国经济都需要低利率来支撑,复苏需要较长的时间,道路将更加艰难。
出于疫情防范的需要,许多企业必须在政府规定的产能限制下运营,消费者对于外出仍持谨慎态度,从而减少了雇主对新员工的需求,包括美国航空、美联航和可口可乐在内的一大批公司宣布了新的休假和裁员,业务仍处于严重衰退之中。一些公司警告说,如果没有更多的政府援助或经济的快速复苏,失业可能会成为永久性的。
