金价跌落千五下方，经济刺激举措实行

8月19日，国际金价跌破千五关口，因风险偏好在经过一周动荡后回归全球市场，同时德国和中国的措施也对经济有刺激作用，股市有所走高。同时美国的零售数据强劲，进一步加强金价回落趋势。
中国央行周一发布公告称，决定改革完善贷款市场报价利率(LPR)形成机制。央行还表示，将会同有关部门，综合采取多种措施，切实降低企业综合融资成本。
德国财长肖尔茨上周日(8月18日)表示，德国拥有全力应对下一次经济危机的财政实力。这暗示，柏林可以拿出高达500亿欧元(554.5亿美元)的额外支出。
德国官方的上述表态打压了市场避险情绪，导致金价走低并利好欧洲股市。德国今年债务规模与经济产出之比预计低于欧盟规定的60%上限，德国未来支出有很大灵活性，利好欧元区经济。
当美联储放弃先前的紧缩政策后，其他国家承受的美元借贷压力也相应得到释放，不再惧怕本币贬值，因此纷纷开启降息进程，且不少央行宽松力度较美联储带来得大，这使得美元很难走软。
本周三(8月21日)，美联储将公布上一次政策会议纪要，可能透露决策曾对美国公债收益率曲线倒挂的看法以及对7月降息25基点的支持程度。
然而更有看点的内容应该来自本周稍晚美联储在杰克逊霍尔召开的央行年会，美联储主席鲍威尔周五(8月23日)将在会议上发表讲话。
市场也不免产生一些疑问，美联储是否会倾向于放宽货币政策以便让收益率曲线重新变陡，平息有关经济将陷入萎缩的看法。之前美国总统特朗普不断发表推文，指责鲍威尔“愚蠢无能”。
尽管华府高筑的贸易壁垒已经损害到了企业信心，但强劲的7月零售销售数据表明，消费者毫无惧色，也不支持美联储祭出更多举措。美国经济近七成依赖消费拉动，黄金面临局部见顶风险。
