中美贸易谈判充满荆棘

分析师表示：“本周的通胀数据的确暗示，升息有可能加速，但在昨日的美联储会议之后，这种可能性似乎下降了。因此，我们看到投资者正在买进黄金等资产。”
美联储周三(5月2日)维持利率不变，并表达了对近期通胀攀升，接近联储2%目标的势头将会持续的信心，表明联储在6月升息的轨道上。
投资者还在等待美中贸易谈判结果。美国财政部长努钦率美方代表团于周四至周五(5月4日)访华。中国国务院副总理刘鹤将与美方代表团就共同关心的中美经贸问题交换意见。
分析师补充说：“最近缺乏避险买盘，但过去几天的一些讯号显示谈判可能不会像预期的那样顺利，所以这可能会是个关注焦点，特别是在美联储会议已经结束的情况下。”
外界认为谈判后签订突破性协议、令中国经济政策发生根本性转变的可能微乎其微，不过若中国同意采取一些短期措施，则可能让美国推迟作出加征关税的决定。
世界黄金协会周四表示，黄金需求创下10年来最疲弱的开局，因金属价格停滞不前，加上利率上升的威胁，促使投资者在其他地方寻求更好的回报。
