美联储新主席放言，货币政策被股市绑架
美联储前理事、现任投行摩根士丹利执行董事的沃尔什(Kevin Warsh)在上周得到了美国总统特朗普和财长努钦的接连接见后，已经俨然成为了下一任美联储主席的最热门人选。而他本人也按捺不住对货币政策前景发表了见解，他表示，在过去数年见，过度宽松的货币政策已经让美联储被捆缚住了手脚，沦为了股市的奴隶。
事实上，沃尔什从不刻意掩释自己的鹰派立场。他曾对原先另一位美联储主席热门候选人、美国前财长萨默斯(Larry Summer)也给出过直言不讳的批评，称他在暗地里给美联储出了馊主意，使得美联储一度错误地认为没完没了的超常宽松货币政策是真的有必要的，因此，美联储就因为这样而让自己真真切切地变成了股市多头的奴隶，其政策的目的也背离了初衷，变成了为股市保驾护航，助其永远只涨不跌。
业内分析师因此表示，沃尔什已经将其政策倾向表露无疑。虽然，即将于明年2月完成首个4年任期的美联储现任主席耶伦的政策立场近期已经由鸽转鹰。但这与沃尔什这样至今初心不改的鹰派大佬相比，仍然只是小巫见大巫了。
所以，在上周有更多传闻称沃尔什可能被特朗普相中后接管执掌美联储后，金融市场就提前给出了反应，美元指数进一步走强，而美债价格则在升息预期下承压走低，收益率回升。周一的民调显示，沃尔什出任美联储新主席的概率为33%，雄踞榜首，另一位美联储前理事鲍威尔为26%，而现任主席耶伦连任的机率则只剩下了17%。
不过，虽然沃尔什对股市出言不逊，但近日美股三大指数却仍持续走强，即使在周一发生拉斯维加斯恶性枪击恐袭事件之后，股指仍逆势上涨再创新高。这可能是因为近期市场情绪更多受到了“特朗普新政”，即减税和去监管政策双管齐下的前景之刺激。然而，如果特朗普真的提名沃尔什出任美联储新主席，却可能是搬起石头砸自己的脚。
分析师指出，沃尔什当前的言论只是为了营造声势，塑造出自己在政策领域的变革者形象，避免因为过早对耶伦的路线采取“萧规曹随”姿态而被市场轻视，但是一旦他接替耶伦上任之后，他就必须直面现实有所取舍，尤其是如果美国的通胀率届时仍无起色的话，那么放缓紧缩步伐仍是他的唯一选择。而略为讽刺的便是，这可能会复制特朗普在上任前豪言冲天，真正坐上了位子却碌碌无为的场景。所以，在押注鹰派的美联储新主席会让美元指数扶摇直上之前，大家最好还是先三思为妙。
