英镑兑美元周一震荡回升
周一(10月31日)英镑兑美元震荡回升，10月份整体大幅下挫，创下6月来表现最差的一个月，因当前英国政治气围紧张，投资者担忧英国央行行长卡尼是否会留任。

但有关卡尼将离任的传言，加重了投资者对英国经济前景的担忧，市场认为，英国计划退欧给长期成长，投资和预算带来风险。

Investec首席经济学家Philip Shaw说，“市场传言，在2018年任期届满后，卡尼不会选择将任期延长三年，这使投资者感到不安，目前英国前景非常不确定，在他将留任的决定被证实前，市场将形势视为不确定是正确的。”
英镑在10月下跌6%，受累于特雷莎·梅和其他保守党高级官员倾向“硬退欧”，即将移民控制的重要性置于欧盟单一市场准入之上。
