美国8月耐用品订单持平 但资本开支增加
美国商务部周三（9月28日）公布，美国8月耐用品订单初值为零，持平，预期为下跌1.5%，前值为4.4%。
路透评论称，美国8月耐用品订单持平，非军事资本物品连续第三个月录得增幅，其中车辆、机械等耐用品订单虽表现平淡，但整体录得上涨，这意味着企业在长时间的削减资本之后开始增加投资支出；此前资本下滑仍一度令美联储担忧，此次数据良好或增强其信心。
周三（9月28日）美联储主席耶伦在国会发表书面证词，耶伦称必须对金融稳定面临的新风险保持警惕，将改变美国银行业的压力测试规则，增强大银行抵御风险的能力。
耶伦称，美联储可对无法解决“生前遗嘱”问题的银行提出资本要求，美国大型银行的境况自危机以来大有改善。
耶伦的书面证词未涉及经济或利率政策前景，并再次强调并未为加息设定固定时间表，将在当前路径上逐步去除宽松政策，FOMC多数委员认为可能有必要在今年加息。
耶伦还提及了并不知道美联储官员布雷纳德与希拉里竞选团队有过任何接触，从未发现政治因素卷入美联储的政策讨论。
