周二（2月23日）亚太时段，日元全线走强，因高风险资产失去吸引力，避险货币需求获得重振。英镑和欧元走势震荡，此前因英国脱欧公投的不确定性遭遇大跌。
日内美元/日元跌至112.45附近，回吐隔夜因股市和大宗商品反弹所得的升幅，并一度触及11个交易日点112.00。
亚太时段早盘日经指数追随美股隔夜升势而走强，但不久后走软，中午前持平，亚洲其余股市大都走跌。
外汇研究公司Global-info Co主管Kaneo Ogino表示，“当前美元兑日元失去动能，因投资者对日股下跌做出反应。看来投机客持续带头行动，美国当局隔夜的评论亦打压美元。”
周一美国财政部一高层官员对接受外媒采访时表示，在上海会议将重申避免汇率操纵承诺的重要性。
财政部官员并称，将敦促所有20国集团(G20)成员避免因竞争力的理由而操纵汇率，重申现有G20承诺。
周二人民币兑美元中间价为6.5273，是2月5日来最低水平。
目前英镑兑美元位于1.4110附近水平，此前一度跌至2009年3月以来低点1.4058。英镑下跌近2%，为近6年来最大单日跌幅。
投资者青睐澳元，主要因澳洲主要出口品铁矿石价格大涨。澳元兑美元一度刷新近2个月高点0.7248，目前位于0.7235附近。
