美国周二公布最新数据显示，美国10月进出口物价延续下滑势头，暗示该国的通胀依然疲软。由此可见，美元持续走强和全球市场需求疲软导致该国的通胀水平承压。
数据显示，美国10月进口物价指数月率下跌0.5%，预期下跌0.1%，前值下跌0.1%。
数据还显示，美国10月进口物价指数年率下跌10.5%，预期下跌9.4%，前值下跌10.7%。
数据公布之后，路透社点评称，美国10月进口物价指数月率不及预期，大幅下跌，主要是因为汽油和和其他一些商品成本下滑所致；此次数据表明美元走强和全球需求疲软继续令美国通胀水平承压，鉴于10月就业数据表现抢眼，疲软的通胀数据或不可能阻止美联储12月加息。
美市盘中，美元兑一篮子主要货币朝着七个月高位逐渐回升，由于市场预计美联储(FED)下个月可能加息，美国国债较其他国家国债收益率差扩大，因而提振了美元。
