印度央行预计周二(9月29日)将关键回购利率降至四年低点，以帮助支撑国内经济，但仍可能对进一步宽松政策保持谨慎。
上周路透公布的一项调查显示，受访的51位经济学家中有45位预计印度央行将下调回购利率25个基点至7.00%，创下2011年5月以来最低水平。
但再次降息可能要取决于物价对消费者通胀的影响，考虑到印度可能面临自2009年以来最干旱的一年，今年季风降雨量已经低于其长期平均水平。
印度央行也可能慎之又慎，因为美联储年底加息的预期可能令新兴市场货币承压，印度卢比也难幸免。
印度央行行长拉詹预计将持谨慎态度，但他不得不平衡来自政府官员和企业高管要求降息的呼吁。
印度降息预期升高，因近期数据显示，8月消费者通胀处在3.66%的纪录低位，远不及印度央行2016年1月6%的通胀目标。
印度经济增长低于预期，第二季度GDP折合年率增长7%，远不及印度政府2015/16财年8-8.5%的目标。
