本周印度国内的黄金需求仍然呈现比较疲软的状态，雨季降雨量的不佳使得市场担忧农村地区收入，继而影响黄金的需求。
印度的黄金需求有差不多三分之二是来自农村地区。
交易员们表示，目前印度国内的金价处在有1美元/盎司贴水的状态，显现出需求的疲软。
金饰商表示：“和上个月相比，目前需求是比较疲软的。农民们首先是买种子和肥料。因为去年干旱影响了他们的收入，他们没有多余的钱去买黄金。”
交易商表示，除非金价跌至2.6万卢比/10克下方，不然接下去几周黄金需求仍然会很疲软。
亚洲其它地区中，上海黄金交易所的金价升水在1至2美元/盎司间，较上周没有太大改变。新加坡的升水在1美元/盎司左右，香港地区的金价升水自上周80美分至1美元下跌至目前的70美分至1美元之间。
