中国央行下调利率，料开启降息周期以提振经济

在中国经济下行压力加大的形势下央行终于决定降息，重启已雪藏逾两年的这一传统货币政策工具。央行决定自周六起将一年期存款和贷款基准利率分别下调25和40个基点，并扩大存款利率浮动上限。虽然央行表示稳健货币政策取向不变，但市场认为降息仍具强烈信号作用，缓解融资成本高已进入攻坚战阶段，新的降息周期料由此开启。
此外，参与政策制定的消息人士透露，中国政府和央行准备再次降息并放松贷款限制，担心物价下跌可能引发债务违约、企业破产和就业岗位流失情况加剧。一位参与内部政策讨论的政府智库资深经济学家表示，“最高领导层已经改变了他们的观点。”这位不愿具名的经济学家称，中国人民银行已经把关注重点转向更广泛的刺激政策，并且不排除进一步调降利率以及存款准备金率的可能，这实际上限制了流入信贷的资本规模。其并表示，央行应当在准备进一步降息，因为中国已经进入降息周期，降准也有可能。
中国央行宣布降息后，欧美股市普遍上涨，欧洲股市FTSEUROFIRST 300指数收涨2.1%，道琼工业指数和标准普尔500指数收盘创纪录，布兰特原油期货上涨至每桶80.36美元的高位，金价周五升至每盎司1,200美元以上。
