黄金ETF资金大量流出

全球最大的交易所上市基金（ETF）——SPDR黄金ETF，本周二迎来了10周年。过去两年，大机构从黄金ETF撤离被认为是加速金价下跌的元凶，然而也有观点认为仍然坚守黄金ETF的投资者更具黏性，更具长期眼光。
SPDR黄金ETF2004年11月诞生，被认为是黄金投资的革命性方式。正是它的出现，使得原本属于权贵的黄金投资成为私人投资者也触手可及的方式，并且为黄金交易带来流通性和透明度。SPDR黄金ETF是全球第二只追踪商品的ETF，它也毫无争议地成为全球最成功的一只黄金ETF基金，目前有大约100万个账户持有人。
作为SPDR发起人之一的世界黄金信托服务公司的首席行政官威廉·林德认为，该基金之所以成功，是因为它将最古老的商品——黄金的投资变得更简单。SPDR黄金ETF每一份额就是1//10盎司的黄金，它能让人们和投资股票一样投资黄金，如果要在投资组合中加入黄金，SPDR黄金ETF是非常简单的一种方式。
简单，但也同样具有波动性。投资者在金融危机中大量涌入SPDR黄金ETF，但其避险需求最近没能起作用，随着美国经济好转美元走强，SPDR黄金ETF随着金价一同下跌。
在过去的两年里，黄金ETF持仓量的下降一直被认为是加速金价下跌的罪魁祸首。数据显示，截至2012年12月31日，全球黄金ETF黄金持仓量达9060万盎司，然而，在随后的2013年投资者大举撤离，ETF持仓量急剧下滑，一直持续到今年。今年ETF黄金持仓量下降速度有所减缓，截至今年10月31日，ETF黄金持仓量为5720万盎司，较最高峰时缩水了37%。
对此，有分析人士认为，许多仅仅是以投机为目的投资者离开了，而更多寻求投资“保险”的投资者，他们仍然在坚守。
尽管以对冲金融危机风险为目的的投资者离开了，但SPDR黄金ETF是多样化投资组合的好方式，“在加入了股票和债券的组合后，整个投资组合的波动性下降了。简单来说，如果出现大的灾难性事件，或者全球经济陷入衰退，使得股票或者其他风险资产价格下挫，黄金价格应该会上涨，这样可以抵消其他市场的部分损失。
分析师表示，仍然坚守黄金ETF的投资者是为了财富保值，他们担心世界上会发生什么不好的事情。美国结束了量化宽松政策，但日本却在加码。欧洲央行仍在实行量化宽松政策。即便是美国，其国内低非农就业率以及经济是否真正走出困境仍然让人担忧。因此，投资黄金及黄金ETF可算是买了一份保险。
