黃金逆轉出現巨大回升

8月29日，美聯儲主席鮑威爾在發表講話前，市場情緒偏低迷，美元指數有所走低，同時也提高了黃金等其他產品的吸引力，而且投資者也預測各國將會進一步出臺刺激措施來減輕疫情帶來的影響。
現貨黃金盤中曾刷新8月12日以來低點至1902.89美元/盎司，美國7月份耐用品訂單增幅超過預期兩倍的數據公佈後，金價從盤中低點跳升，後一路走高，紐市尾盤一度攀升至1952.59美元/盎司。
分析師表示，今天公佈的最新數據非常具有通脹性，耐用品超過預期表明“需求增加和物價上漲”，經濟復蘇可能預示著通貨膨脹；這也將有助於黃金，黃金通常被認為是對消費者價格上漲的避險工具。
全球各國央行和政府已出臺大規模刺激措施，以支撐受疫情衝擊的本國經濟，這推動金價今年迄今上漲了約28%，因為它被視為一種對沖通脹和貨幣貶值的手段。
上周的美聯儲會議記錄幾乎沒有提供任何未來幾個月是否有可能轉向更寬鬆政策的線索。美聯儲主席鮑威爾計畫週四在傑克遜霍爾年會上就一年半以來對貨幣政策框架的評估結果發表講話，預計他的講話將提供更多有關美聯儲的通脹和貨幣政策策略的線索。
在實施新的貨幣政策策略後，美聯儲料將把短期利率至少未來五年維持在接近零的水準。新策略最快可能在下個月公佈，或令決策者對通貨膨脹採取更為寬鬆的態度，甚至歡迎通脹率適度的暫時性超過2％目標，以彌補過去通脹率低於目標值的情況。
