避險情緒降溫，金價小幅度回落

5月25日，由於市場風險情緒回暖加上全球股市的普遍上漲，市場對黃金的避險需求減弱，分析師認為當前表現較佳的美股和美元，讓黃金的波動保持震盪，同時當前市場對通脹不佳的擔憂也讓黃金有所限制。
短期而言，避險情緒可能反而會影響黃金的表現，黃金市場的波動可能加劇；並且避險情緒推動美元走高將影響金價上行。但長期而言，情況則完全不同。
金價仍然在此前持續的震盪區域內，難以脫1800關口。美國CPI資料已經很糟糕了，這表明了實際利率不太可能再低，甚至可能回升，美聯儲進入負利率狀態的可能是很小的。金價可能維持在震盪區域內較低部分。上方在1765美元/盎司，下方則在1705美元/盎司，接下去可能會圍繞在1715美元/盎司附近，上方則看向1750。
如果經濟出現兩種情況，那麼黃金將再次走高。在各國央行和政府為應對疫情而採取的極為寬鬆的政策後，黃金市場沒有進一步走高是讓多頭略為失望的，這背後有兩個比較明顯的因素。儘管大量流動性被注入了市場中，貨幣供應量大增，但其流通的速度有明顯下降；這當然很大程度上受到美國多個城市居家令的影響，能花錢的場景變少。另外，人們對後市經濟以及失業的擔憂也讓他們減少支出；在這種情況下，通脹就遭到了打壓，也就影響了黃金。
另一大因素就是黃金市場目前這種極度看多的情況。在包括美聯儲在內的各大央行都採用了非常寬鬆的政策後，市場對金價大幅走高有預期，整個黃金市場變得日常看多。從Hulbert的黃金市場情緒指數HGNSI來看，自4月中旬黃金觸及高位後，該指數從52小幅上漲到了54.2，但其間黃金一度回落了約40美元。這表明了黃金多頭極為頑固，這未必是好事。
如果地緣政治風險影響了全球經濟的復蘇，那麼意味著各國央行就可能需要做更多。當前整個市場都在觀望，金價無論是上行還是下行都受限。對短期金價表示中性態度，但長期看漲，預計接下去的阻力水準為1820美元/盎司。
