油价崩跌美元重新受青睐，现货黄金重新走低

4月21日，由于美元指数创下近两周新高，加上原油期货出现历史性崩跌后，市场的担忧情绪蔓延，寻求现金的欲望增高，现货黄金则出现了重新走低的状态。同时美国国内对何时解除疫情限制措施的争论加剧，市场对黄金的避险需求被通缩预期加强而有所抵消。
NYMEX原油期货5月合约价格周一(4月20日)史无前例跌至负值。由于美国原油存储设施接近装满，投资者一直在削减近月石油期货合约多仓。能源价格下跌，还因为主要产油国上周达成的减产尚未抵消新冠疫情导致的需求崩跌影响。
为放缓疫情扩散而实施的工厂关闭和旅行限制措施导致油价崩跌，使资金流出大宗商品货币和其他风险资产，流入美元计价资产。
国际货币基金组织(IMF)总裁格奥尔基耶娃周一表示，疫情造成的影响将意味着170个国家今年经济将出现负增长，IMF或需要考虑采取“非常规措施”来帮助各国应对新冠大流行，并缓解其经济影响。
在美国，关于什么时候解除抗疫限制措施的争论周一加剧，抗议者称强制封锁是“暴政”，很多抗议者对卫生专家表达不信任，对国内实际疫情规模表示怀疑，指责官员反应过度、所采取的行动带来的危害比病毒本身更大。
现货黄金今年已经大涨近10%，4月14日触及约七年半高位1747.36美元，因新冠疫情大流行搅乱全球市场以及全球各央行出台一波货币刺激措施。
但投资者对黄金的避险需求增加被强势美元和低油价带来的潜在通缩预期抬头所抵消。金价可能受到美元上涨，以及实物需求下降的打压。如果金融市场再次重挫，投资者需要变现更具流动性的资产以维持生计，那么金价也可能受到冲击。
在被问及是否支持通过欧盟预算和发行共同债券、帮助意大利和西班牙等受疫情打击最重的其他欧盟国家时，默克尔表示，欧盟条约中的条款已经允许采取此类行动，而且已经被用于资助一项欧洲短期工作计划。
