美国过早复工不可取，黄金继续创新高

4月22日，现货黄金市场重新反弹上涨，由于石油价格崩跌，美元指数从高位回落，市场的避险需求明显增加，同时美国官员称过早复工可能让病情更加严重，同时欧盟的援助计划仍有更多争议，英国人民对就业保障等问题越加悲观。
布伦特原油录得1999年3月以来新低至15.98美元/桶；而陷入绝望的生厂商为尽快出售原油不惜承受剧痛，NYMEX原油已在周初跌创史无前例的负价格。各国为抑制新冠疫情蔓延而实施的出行限制措施，导致汽油、柴油等燃料需求急剧下降。
华府方面，参议院周二一致通过一项规模为4840亿美元的又一新冠疫情援助法案，以帮助美国经济和治疗新冠患者的医院，该法案有待众议院在本周稍晚的最终表决。
动荡的市况令投资者对风险的兴趣大幅减弱，美国经济迎来最终复苏的脚步远远慢于投资者预期，全球股市反弹动能已明显减弱，黄金等传统避险工具成为更受青睐的选项。
美国是全球新冠疫情最严重的国家，已有逾257万人感染，近18万人死亡，并导致全境实施封锁，学校被关闭，工业和企业停摆。一些州长推进复工心情急切，但卫生官员显然在该问题上更具发言权，投资者可能强化对现金的执念。
他们料将达成初步协议，利用欧盟下一批长期预算来创造一个复苏基金(Recovery Fund)，但仍有许多细节存在争议，意味着料将不会达成最终协议。
政府已经推出一套经济援助方案，当中包括支付高达80%的薪资成本，藉以减少裁员，并为多达80%的小型企业银行贷款提供保证。
若出现第二波疫情导致新的封锁，现在暂时性失业就有可能变为永久失业，企业倒闭迫使家庭成员在哪怕取消封锁后依旧人心惶惶，消费市场或陷入长期严重低迷，这是包括英国在内的发达国家所无法承受的，民众短期内会加大现金储备。
